Common questions
Does the QR code ever expire?
No. Your Credify link and QR code are permanent. As long as your account is active, the link works forever.
What happens if I update my CV?
You'll need to re-seal the new version — the old hash won't match the updated file (which is the whole point). You can revoke the old document in your dashboard and upload the new one. Your QR link stays the same.
Can I use the same QR on multiple CVs?
Yes. Your QR always links to your profile page which shows all your sealed documents. Update your documents in the dashboard and the link stays the same.
Does the recruiter need to download an app?
No. They scan with any phone camera or click the link in a browser. No app, no login, no friction.
What size should the QR be on the CV?
Around 2cm × 2cm (about 75px) is ideal for print. On screen it can be slightly larger. Avoid going below 1.5cm as it may not scan reliably.
