Everything you need to know about Credify and how it works.
Credify seals your documents — CV, diplomas, certificates — with a unique cryptographic hash (SHA-256). Once sealed, any change to the file breaks the seal. You get a QR code and shareable link. When someone scans or clicks it, they see all your documents verified: genuine, unmodified, and attributed to you.
Yes. When you seal a document, it's cryptographically linked to your identity at that exact moment. It proves the document is exactly what you submitted — not regenerated, not altered. Recruiters see the seal and the date it was created, confirming it came from you, not an AI tool.
No. Your documents are hashed entirely in your browser. We receive and store only the hash fingerprint — a short string that represents the file without containing any of its content. Your CV, diploma, and certificates never leave your device.
A hash is like a unique fingerprint for a file. Change a single word in your CV and the fingerprint changes completely. This means if someone tries to edit a sealed document — even slightly — the seal breaks and the verification page will flag it. It's the same technology used in banking and blockchain.
They're taken to your Credify verification page where they see all your sealed documents listed with their verification status. Each document shows as "Verified", with the seal timestamp. No login required on their end — it just works.
Yes — this is included in your £4.99 package. Every scan is logged with the city, country, and exact time. You'll see a live analytics feed in your dashboard showing which applications are getting attention.
Anywhere you share your credentials: paste the link into your CV next to your contact details, add it to your cover letter, include it in your LinkedIn profile summary, or add it to your email signature. Wherever a recruiter looks — the proof is one click away.
PDF, JPEG, PNG, and WebP — up to 10MB per file. PDFs are recommended for CVs and diplomas for the best presentation.
No. £4.99, once. You seal up to 10 documents, get your QR and link, and access your scan analytics forever. No renewal, no monthly fee, no surprises.
If you update your CV you'll need to re-seal the new version — the old hash no longer matches the new file (which is the whole point). You revoke the old document in your dashboard (it stays in your verification history as revoked) and add the updated one. Your QR link stays the same. Documents are never deleted, only revoked, so recruiters always see the full audit trail.
No. The verification page is public — any recruiter can open your link or scan your QR without signing up for anything. That's intentional: zero friction for them means they'll actually check it.
